Citylight is a family of churches committed to shining the light of Christ in dark and hard places—serving people spiritually and physically and equipping every believer to live on mission.

Citylight officially launched on September 15, 2019 with a commitment to bring light into darkness through community-center churches that care for both spiritual and physical needs.
What began with one committed group has grown into a Citylight family in multiple places and languages, with local and global partnerships helping carry the gospel and practical care beyond the walls of the church.

Our Core Values
What shapes the way we live.
Knowing Jesus is our highest priority. We want our public gatherings and personal lives to be marked by seeking Him, enjoying His presence, and growing in relationship with Him. Psalm 27:4; John 14:6
Prayer is central to our relationship with God and to the work of ministry. We pray expectantly because the mission of God requires the power of God. Colossians 4:2; Hebrews 4:14–16
Scripture is foundational to our gatherings and our everyday lives. Through God's Word we learn about Him, hear from Him, and are equipped to follow Jesus faithfully. Acts 18:5; 2 Timothy 3:16–17
We depend on the Holy Spirit rather than ourselves. We want every believer using their spiritual gifts, walking in step with the Spirit, and joining His work of pointing people to Jesus. Romans 8:14; 1 Corinthians 12:7
Jesus calls His people to carry His light into dark places. We step toward people who are hurting, overlooked, or hard to reach and seek to glorify God through the gospel and good works. Matthew 5:14–16; Luke 4:18–19
In Christ we are one body with one mission. We pursue unity, community, and reconciliation because the gospel brings people together across cultural and social divisions. Ephesians 4:3–6; Revelation 5:9
Servant is our ministry posture. Following Jesus means considering others, meeting needs, and understanding that true greatness is found in serving. 1 Corinthians 4:1; Mark 10:43–45

Statement of Beliefs
What we believe.
Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ. These foundational convictions shape our teaching, our church, and our mission.
God
There is one living and true God, eternally revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—distinct in person and one in nature, essence, and being.
Scripture
The Holy Bible is divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to humanity. All Scripture ultimately testifies to Christ.
Salvation
Salvation is freely offered through Jesus Christ and received through personal faith in Him as Lord and Savior.
The Church
The local church is a congregation of baptized believers joined together in the gospel, practicing Christ's ordinances and carrying His mission to the world.
Mission
Every follower of Christ and every local church shares the privilege and responsibility of making disciples of all nations.
